WTF is wrong with people?

I went to the movies tonight (Sherlock Holmes, very enjoyable) and had the pleasure of sitting next to an ever-growing nearly complete row of (late) teens (lost my purse by the start of the movie, as most of them kicked it on their way in, so that it was 3 or 4 seats away). As if the giggling and shushing wasn't enough, two of them got up in the middle of the movie to go to the bathroom. They decide to come down our side of the row on their way back, proceeding to knock over our bag of popcorn. Okay, accidents happen, apologize and move on. OR FUCKING LAUGH AND SAY "OH, MORE POPCORN LOLOL." People piss me the fuck off. I was honestly taken out of the movie for a bit due to my heightened level of annoyance. I started plotting my revenge: A trip to the bathroom, perhaps, with my popcorn coming along, and maybe I'd trip over my stray purse in the process, woefully spilling what was left of my popcorn on their laps. Or maybe just the simple gesture of leaning over towards one of them and requesting that they kindly ask their friends to shut the fuck up. Both solid ideas, neither executed, unfortunately.

This is why I choose to embrace my inner fuddy-duddy and opt for matinees, or at least late night showings on school nights. (And what the hell is the deal with bringing a camera to the movie theater? Taking pictures. Complete with flash. Does everything need to be illustrated for Facebook?)

Anyway, the movie was good. It made me think of House quite a bit.

Since I don't have the means of watching the show every time I have a canon question/decide to work with a storyline I'm not very familiar with, I was curious if anyone knows about where I could find transcripts (scripts?) for the show. I think there may have been one or two up on tvtwiz at one point or another.

Holiday debuggery

We know there were a few kinks with the holiday promotion. We've been working very hard to get them ironed out. If you have a paid/permanent account, keep on sending those coupons. Here's an update:

• If you were unable to send out multiple coupons at a time, please perform a hard refresh, and you should be good to go.
• If you redeemed a coupon to upgrade your account and the balance at checkout was $0 instead of $9.95 or $15, this means your upgrade did not go through (nor were you charged). We've straightened this out, so you can now apply your holiday coupon toward the purchase of an annual paid account.
• If you tried to redeem a holiday coupon and had trouble using a gift certificate to cover the balance of an annual paid account, we identified the root problem. If this happened to you, you can now use your holiday coupon together with your gift certificate.
• If the number of holiday coupons you have available suddenly goes up (instead of down), this might be due to recipients declining the coupons, at which point your pool of available coupons will be replenished and, therefore, increase.
• If you need assistance with holiday coupons or pretty much anything else (well, LiveJournal related), please open a support request and we'll be more than happy to help!

Tweaks

• There were some initial glitches displaying results on My Guests, but we've worked them out. We hope you'll check out who's been checking you out!
• Some of you reported formatting issues using the Rich Text Editor (i.e., line breaks were being removed incorrectly). We've implemented a fix! Thanks so much for your patience.
